Manage Organisms

The Organism editing page provides tools for managing and updating metadata associated with organisms. Authorized users can:

• Edit metadata fields such as alternative names, associated TaxIDs, and representative genomes.
• Assign tags to categorize organisms or mark them with specific attributes.
• Indicate whether an organism is restricted.
• Access and link representative genome information for each organism.

Changes are automatically reflected in the underlying database and related JSON files.
